Surfing Costa Rica

Costa Rica attracts thousands of vacationers every year that are interested solely in the surfing. The most famous spots include, Matapalo (20 minutes from lodge on the OSA penninsula) & Pavones (across the Gulfe Dulce). We will provide you with transportation, a surfboard, and a knowledgeable local surfing guide who knows how to get the most out of your day. No matter what your skill level, our guides can work with you to be sure your day is exciting, eventful, and safe.

Bring a swimsuit and sun block. Because the surf depends on the tide we recommend this as a full day tour. Full day surfing tour $95 per person.

Caño Island Scuba Diving

For a first hand look at the beautiful inhabitants of Costa Rica’s Pacific Ocean we offer scuba diving at Cano Island. For certified divers only this adventure begins at 5:00am with a two-hour car ride to Drake’s Bay. We will then begin an hour-long scenic boat ride to Cano Island. Once we reach our destination we will dive our first tank at one of the many superb dive locations depending on the tide and visibility. After our first dive we will return to the island for lunch and some relaxation before we again hit the water for our second dive in a new location. While diving in the Pacific waters of Costa Rica you have the chance to see Parrotfish, Angelfish, the Spotted Green Puffer, the Spotted and Freckled Porcupinefish, the Panamic Soldierfish, Blunthead Triggerfish, Southern Stingray, Lesser Devil Ray, Spotted Eagle Ray, Manta Ray, and the Whale Shark.

This tour is $245 per person with a two-person minimum. Bring a hat, sun block, bathing suit and a camera.

Golfo Dulce Snorkeling

Let us give you a first hand look at what beauty resides beneath the water. We will take you to three smooth areas, sheltered from the repetitive beating of the ocean's relentlessly pounding tide. In these areas you will have the chance to hover above the many forms of life as you leisurely tour these regions of the warm blue water. While we have no living reefs inside the gulf there are a wide variety of tropical fish that call these waters home, as well as sea cucumbers, crabs, sea anemone, and jellyfish.

Take a day to view what wonders live beneath the waters of Golfo Dulce and you will have a new respect for the life that inhabits the deep. This tour is offered as a full day adventure and is $95 per person. Bring a bathing suit, a hat and plenty of sun block.

Private Sailing Experience

Join us aboard the vessel “Walden” for a private sailing adventure on beautiful Golfo Dulce. Let us pamper you with gourmet food and tropical drink, while we take a leisurely cruise across the pristine waters of the gulf. Enjoy our spacious decks, huge cockpit and luxurious interior. This tour is offered as a half day. We will be ready and waiting at the dock at 10:00am and will return at approximately 2:00 - 3:00pm. The price is $75 per person with a minimum of four people.
